Unboxing Warzone: Cybertronic Starter Box

Unboxing time! And now it's the all new Cybertronic starter box, and this is a really nice one. You get two different Dr Diana, one is the warlord (175 Pts) in most cases and the other one can be a lord (110 Pts) choice (or a Neoclone squad leader but you only get the 40mm bases for them here). You also get the Exterminateur Mk 1 (don't know the pts cost for him yet but we can guess around 150 Pts maybe) and ten Chasseurs with different weapon upgrades at 206 Pts. This brings this box up to around 641 Pts, much more than the previous one if we look at just the Pts value of the box, in the old we got an Cuirassier Attila and Everassur instead and a total of around 480 Pts all of these are without any of the Enhancements Cybertronic get.

The same cool artwork as the cover of the rulebook

The back cover is showing us the contents of the....old box! I think this will change in the future though.

We get two of these sprues with Chasseurs, a lot of extra arms as well. And you can see the letters on the bottom resin, there's also letters in the holes for the arms to show you the best combinations of arms and bodies. But it works well without as well but a nice touch nonetheless.

Nice crisp details, and better proportions to the old Chasseurs

The Exterminateur, more about this on my previous unboxing found here.

Four heads and some are totally new so nice to get some diversity between all of your Dr Diana clones.

75 cards, 3 40 mm lipped bases and 10 30 mm. And of course two D20.

We only get one stat card for Dr Diana and the Chasseurs which is a little odd. And 8 Reactors.

Missed one of the EMP cards on the picture above this one, so a total of four EMP cards.

Here's how it all looks when built together, haven't glued the arms on everyone and here you can see how some of the different arm combinations look.

Comparison with an old KS Chasseur, not a huge difference, better and more crisp details. And a little bit bigger torso and head.

You get some extra bits as well which is always nice.
All in all a great looking starter box and a great start to start an Cybertronic force, which is how a Starter box should be. Great value Pts wise as well, so if you are starting an Cybertronic force, get this box as well.

Unboxing Warzone: Cybertronic Exterminateur Mk.1

Yesterday I got a new package from 'Poland?!' containing my latest WZR purchase. So here we go again with some new Unboxing articles and first up is the Termninato.....eh... Exterminateur Mk. 1. This is actually part of the new Cybertronic Starter set, but it will be available to buy separately and is also a completely new model so I wanted to do an Unboxing for just this new mega robot from Cybertronic.

So here we go.

All the contents in for this particular model, no box as it's part of the starter set.

Three parts, no problem at all to assemble.

Pretty much no moldlines and the details are very sharp

The stat card is looking really nice

I don't think we know yet how many points it costs but I really like the rules for it and will defiantly try to fit one in my Cybertronic list

All six cards you get for this model, quite nice cards as well

The assembled model, no problem at all to put together

Size comparison to with and Razide and Vulcan
I must say I really like the looks of this model, much similar to the classic looking Attilas but bigger and beefier. And Cybertronic has finally got an Light Vehicle (with an model). The details are really crisp and the resin feels really nice, all in all a really nice model and with some pretty awesome cards and rules as well.

Miniature Monday: Imperial Trencher finished!

Today I will show you the first test model for how I'm going to paint up my Imperial Trenchers. I don't know why but the finished model does not really show of nicely on these pictures somehow, it actually looks much better in real lifer for some reason.

So well well, at least you can see what colour scheme I went with. Did a quite classic looking colour scheme that I think will work with the rest of the army. I use mostly WP Monster Brown and WP Angel Green and that is the same as the camo on my Vehicles for example. I'm really happy with the result and think a finished unit will look even better, so look out for that in the near future.

Unboxing Warzone: Imperial Starter Set

This is a late one, just haven't managed to finish this Unboxing before. But better late than never right? So on to it then.

Awesome and classic Paul Bonner boxart

All the contents

We get two of these sprues, lovely sculpts and crisp details

You can use these fellas as Warlord, Lord or even and little NCO. Great looking miniatures.

Back of the box
You get 75 cards in the box just like all the other starters, you get 8 Resource cards, 5 stat cards, 17 strategy cards, twelve gear cards and 35 tactical cards (I count them to 76 cards but anyway). I must say I really like

And finally all the models put together, I must say I really like the look of this starter and think it's the nicest one yet released for WZ:R. The only thing I'm not as fond of is the limitation in poses, the poses they actually have though is so dynamic so this is not a huge deal. All in all a great kit I can recomend for all you WZ:R players, and maybe even for Imperial Guard.... ehm Astra Militarum players out there who want something different.

News: A lot of new Warzone:Resurrection sculpts!

Yesterday we got a lot of new pictures showing some new sculpts, including revised versions of the Cybertronic Starter set and Brotherhood Starter. Unfortunately not well received from all, and while I can see their point I can't agree with them. Prodos Games is updating their portfolio of miniatures from our feedback, the Valkyries where a paint to assemble.... Prodos makes new ones. Awesome if you ask me, if the same would have happened with a GW product of late we might see a new version ten years from now.

Not the best comparison maybe but you get the point, and Prodos is still a very young company who produced a lot of different miniatures in a short amount of time. Still they need to sell after us KS backers have gotten their goods as well and need the best possible product too attract more people into WZ:R.

I have both the old Cyber starter and Brotherhood starter, and although the new starters is far superior in looks I also think it mixes very well with the old ones. So I bought both of the new starters without hesitation, I also bought some Sacred Warriors and the newly posed Etoiles Mortants (have ten already but the new poses will be mixed into my other squads).

If you want to buy something or just check them out more I do recommend their own Prodos Shop. I ordered earlier today and it is already in transit, really fast and can't wait to get my hands on the new stuff. But enough of this, here's the pictures of the new stuff. Also found here are the models made for Mutant Chronicles RPG 3rd Ed.
